preparing the journey to Rome. Is my electric bike suitable !?

Have just flown back from Milan and thought about how many cycling miles I will have to cover in the spring !!

Canterbury to Rome is about 1200 miles (2000 kms), generally flat through France, a bit more ‘lumpy’ through Switzerland, then you have the almighty climb over the Grand St Bernard pass (2,500m/8,100ft). They reckon the pass won’t be snow-free till sometime in June. Worth checking this out. Then in Italy, you have the Apennines to negotiate……..the Etruscans always built their fortified towns on the tops of hills ;0) It will be a great ride and adventure. Enjoy!
